Outreach

"Go make disciples"

Grace Church exists to reach people who are far from God by helping our neighbors experience the love of Christ through the body of Christ. We don’t just pray that people will come to church; we pray that we will go out and be the church! In the Great Commission, Jesus tells us to “go make disciples.” At Grace Church, we take seriously that one of Jesus’ favorite words is “go!” What we know as we go is that we are joining The Holy Spirit already at work in people’s lives. We desire to do whatever it takes to reach whomever God puts in our path whenever they need us without compromising the message of the God’s love expressed through Jesus Christ.

second Saturday

On the 2nd Saturday of each month we serve our local community in the form of a Choice Pantry. This ministry provides food and meals to those in need within our community. In 2020, we served over 9,000 children, adults and seniors.

NEW PEOPLE. NEW PLACES. NEW WAYS.

Fresh Expressions exists to form faith communities that reach new people, in new places, by new ways.

Fresh Expressions was created to be a form of church for the changing culture, established primarily for the benefit of people who are not yet members of any church. These communities come into being through principles of listening, service, contextual mission, and making disciples and have the potential to become mature expressions of church shaped by the Gospel.

As we consider the future of what church looks like, we believe that it will be a mixed economy of both traditional churches and Fresh Expressions. Diverse forms of church must exist together to reach a diverse population with the good news of Jesus Christ.

Shoes of Hope

Since 2011, Grace Church has blessed hundreds of families in need through a back-to-school outreach event called Shoes of Hope. Children and youth receive brand new shoes, school supplies, and a Bible. But that's not all! During this time, volunteers wash their feet and tell them about Jesus. Dozens of children and youth have made 1st time commitments to Jesus through Shoes of Hope!
