Firsthand Confirmation Classes

It is with great excitement that we are writing to let you know about Firsthand, our Confirmation experience at Grace Church for middle school students. Confirmation is an important step in a young Christ follower’s spiritual journey. The Firsthand experience will give your student the opportunity to learn the “basics” of the Christian faith, become a full member of Grace Church, and most importantly, make a firsthand, public decision to grow in a relationship with Jesus.  

Firsthand will consist of five sessions during the 9:30am service on Sunday mornings, running from September 17^th through October 15^th. This will also include different parent-child assignments throughout the experience as a way to include parents and families along with the student. Students will be confirmed during the worship services on November 5^th, and parents will determine which service their child will be confirmed at. These and other moments promise to make Firsthand a memorable time in the spiritual journey of every student that participates.

Parents and students are invited to join us for the first official Firsthand Kickoff Meeting on Sunday, September 10^th, at 12:30pm in the Youth Room at the Cape Campus of Grace Church. During this time, we will go over additional dates and details regarding Confirmation and will be available to answer any questions you might have. The cost is $25/student which covers materials needed for the class.
