The Exceptional Entrepreneur Program is an innovative ministry of Grace Church, empowering people with special needs. Since it’s opening in February of 2013 the program has grown and expanded offering many new opportunities. The program started out as a worm farm (Vermiculture), and since has expanded to become an Employment Training Center. The program has three phases: Job Training, Supportive Transition and Entrepreneurship Opportunities.
Exceptional Entrepreneurs learn by participating in all aspects of product creation, from ordering supplies, creating and assembling products, marketing and sales. Some of the items produced: Honey Sticks, Shea Butter Cream, a variety of Woodworking items, Tutu’s and of course our Signature Garden Art made from melted vinyl records.
Sales of all products in the Job Training and Supportive Transition phases go back into growing the program. Since it’s inception, Exceptional Entrepreneurs has employed several graduates of the job training program.
The Exceptional Entrepreneurs are located at:
4151 Hancock Bridge Parkway, North Fort Myers, Florida 33903
The Exceptional Entrepreneurs foster a safe, nurturing environment where the issues of poverty, unemployment, and the stigma of insignificance are being impacted through job training, supportive transition, and entrepreneurship opportunities.
