CR - 10/05/18 - Relapse Prevention Testimonies

CR - 10/05/18 - Relapse Prevention Testimonies

Series: Choose Recovery

Category: Cape Coral Campus

Summary:

Relapse Prevention Testimonies

Detail:

Message Notes

Step 10:  We continued to take personal inventory, and when we were wrong, promptly admitted it.

So if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall. (1 Corinthians 10:12)

Step 11:  We sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry it out.

Let the word of Christ dwell in your richly. (Colossians 3:16)

Step 12: Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to others and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. (Galatians 6:1)

Notes on Testimony of Dominick B. (Sexual Integrity):

Notes on Testimony of Brooke S. (Codependency):

Notes on Testimony of John N. (Drugs and Alcohol):

“When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it.  Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order.  Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first.” (Matthew 12:43-45)
