Ashley G. Testimony

Message Notes

Testimony of Ashley G.

Step 3:  We made a decision to turn our lives and our wills over to the care of God.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding.  In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.  Proverbs 3:5-6

Notes on Ashley's Testimony:

Group Discussion Question:

It is challenging to turn our thoughts, ideas, attitudes, behaviors, actions, and emotions over to Jesus.   One reason is that the world teaches that self-sufficiency is the way to success.  Yet in recovery we have found that our self-sufficiency has failed us when it comes to our addictions and compulsions.  Talk about how you are beginning to "let go and let God" lead your life.  What does that look like for you on a day to day basis?
