Our Sunday morning programs for kids age 3 to 5th grade is called Grace Place. Children are checked in at our welcome desk using a key tag computer check in system. This insures our children’s safety while in our care! Families can arrive up to 15 minutes before worship and spend time at activity centers playing games while interacting with peers and volunteers.
Our Grace Place program for elementary children is divided into three segments. The first segment is dedicated to worship that kids love. Worship time is followed by a Bible lesson which often involves drama, video, and other methods of presentation. This lesson is written by our teaching team based on the same message the adults are hearing in the Sanctuary. The last segment is small group time where children meet with the same volunteer shepherd each week to discuss the lesson, how it applies to daily life, and spend time building relationships. Because of this relationship-building, parents are encouraged to attend church at the same time each week.
Preschool Grace Place is very similar, just in a more intimate atmosphere! Children stay in their classroom where they have fellowship time for the first 10 minutes of the worship hour. They are then escorted by their teachers to Room 25 where they have Praise and Worship and hear a Bible Story from one of our Storytellers! We also welcome new comers and celebrate birthdays at that time. At the conclusion of worship, they return to their classrooms for a life application story, a snack and additional fellowship time.
These programs are the same on both the Cape Coral and North Fort Myers campuses.
