ADOPT A CHILD
In coordination with the Florida Department of Children & Families and Foster Care, Grace Church provides Christmas presents for many children and youth who are in Foster Care placements in Lee County. The young person requests three gifts which they would like to have at Christmas. Those requests are then distributed to folks from Grace who choose to participate. The gifts are purchased, wrapped, and returned to the church by the designated date.

CAN DO SUNDAY
The second Sunday of every month has been designated as "Can Do Sunday" at Grace. The people of Grace bring in cans of food and other non-perishable products for distribution through the Cape Coral Caring Center.

COMMUNITY COOPERATIVE MINISTRIES SOUP KITCHEN
Community Cooperative Ministries is one of the few locations in Lee County where homeless people can receive a meal on a regular basis. The Soup Kitchen provides one meal a day around noon . CCM also has a day care program for less fortunate families. Volunteers are needed in the Soup Kitchen and in the Child Care.

ECHO
ECHO provides a unique opportunity to "take a trip around the world" or be an active volunteer in world missions - without leaving Ft. Myers! ECHO experiments with plants and techniques that can help solve world hunger. Volunteers are needed on the farm and in the office.

HIS HEALING HANDS
A medical outreach project which provides first aid and personal care items to homeless and needy persons/families in our area. This is accomplished by partnering with established Christian organizations that already minister to these individuals.

LIFELINE FAMILY CENTER
LifeLine provides a safe place for pregnant teens to go and live for up to two years after the baby is born. LifeLine encourages the girls to complete high school and get job training in preparation for being on their own. LifeLine stresses daily devotions and a growing spiritual life. Volunteers are needed as mentors, for child care, and as substitute house mothers.

MISSIONS CONFERENCE
An Annual Missions Conference is held at Grace Church. Persons who are foreign missionaries as well as those involved in local mission efforts will be with us for this event. The goal of this event is the personalization of missions for the people of Grace Church.

MISSIONS EXTENSION
To continually build and increase the "heartbeat" of missions, both locally and globally, within the walls of Grace Church by creating awareness which leads to action through prayers, giving (money, materials, supplies, etc.) and going (people in service).

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
A child from a third world country is provided with a Christmas gift. The gift is a wrapped shoebox that is filled with non-perishable items that are age-appropriate. The shoebox is filled as full as possible with clothes, toys, school supplies, toiletries (no liquid), etc. The boxes are collected before Thanksgiving so they can be shipped.

READING MENTORS
Adults commit at least one morning a week to go to a neighborhood school and read to and with students who have reading problems. It is an outreach into our community especially to children who are in need of some special assistance.

SHORT TERM MISSIONS
A group of people who are called together to go beyond the walls of the church for a relatively short period of time for the benefit of sharing their love with each other, their "hosts" (missionaries, churches, and other natives to the culture of the trip's destination), and to those who don't know Jesus. This group is comprised of "goers" (those who actually go on the trip) and "senders" (those providing financial, prayer and other support).

TEEN CHALLENGE
Teen Challenge is a wonderfully successful program for young adults suffering from alcohol or drug addiction. Ft. Myers has a program for young men to mentor and disciple them in their walk with Jesus Christ.
