Fundraising

Even though Grace Community Center is in it's infancy, the dynamic FUNdraising team has been working hard to raise tens of thousands of dollars through various FUNdraising events to support the programs and ministries of the Grace Community Center. Since well before we opened our doors, this team was busy planning major community events…

The team started with one of the most Popular FUNdraising programs running today... the T-Shirt sales and promotion! They started with the ever popular UHS (University of the Holy Spirit) T's and moved in to the timeless GOT GRACE shirts.

Following closely on its shirttails the team organized one of our biggest fundraising events ~ our Annual GCC Golf Tournaments. Our inaugural Tournament was held prior to the GCC opening, in April of 2008, and our THIRD annual golf tournament is scheduled for Saturday, April 17, 2010. Our tournaments are graciously and generously hosted at Majestic Golf Club in Lehigh Acres. Majestic Golf course has become an invaluable partner to the Grace Community Center.

Just a week after we opened our doors in November 2008, we held our first Craft Fair ~ Craft-a-Palooza!! Vendors showing their wares from Artwork to Watkins, one year later we hosted our second Craft-a-Palooza with more than 100 vendors.

Other fundraising events projects have included the GCC Gift Card Program, a Fashion Show and an Evening Gala Dinner ~ hosted by the Grace Business Alliance. Everyone gets involved at the Grace Community Center!!
