Holy Discontent!
For Nehemiah, it all began with a God-given “holy
discontent.” His heart was
broken when he received news that the walls of Jerusalem lay in ruin
(Nehemiah 1:11-2:8). Has
God given you a “holy discontent?”

Accessing the Damage!
In Nehemiah 2:11-20, Nehemiah begins the work of
restoration. It meant some
“behind-the-scenes” accessing of the damage.
How bad is the damage?
What will it take to fix it?
These are important matters for rebuilders of walls and lives!

It Takes a Team!
Nehemiah did not go out and rent a whole bunch of
construction equipment and start on the project alone.
In Nehemiah 3, we read about a team of people that he enlisted to
join him in this God-honoring, restorative project.
Who’s on your rebuilding team?

Overcoming Opposition!
No matter what you do for God in this life, there
will be pushback. The
naysayers and the foot-draggers will raise up their ugly heads.
Sometimes they even strategize to stop the rebuilding.
It happened for Nehemiah and his team (Nehemiah 4,6) and it will
happen for you and yours.
What will you do?

Victory Celebration!
When the restoration project is finished, it’s time
to throw a party! God loves
parties. But how do you do
it? In Nehemiah 8-10, we
see how Nehemiah and his partners in the rebuilding did it.
